Citizens Bank re-elects Hanif Shoeb as Chairman 

Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb has been unanimously re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank PLC at the 49th meeting of the Bank’s Board of Directors, says a press release.
 
Chowdhury is a distinguished entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience in Bangladesh’s textile and real estate sectors.
 
He currently serves as Chairman of Salma Group, a diversified business conglomerate with a longstanding presence in Bangladesh’s textile, trading, and real estate sectors.

He serves as a Director of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and is a Lifetime Member of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

His commitment to social responsibility is also reflected through the Dabir Sohani Suraiya Foundation, a non-profit charitable initiative of Salma Group.
