Tom Holland becomes world's highest-grossing actor in film history

British actor Tom Holland has reportedly emerged as the highest-grossing actor in film history, with movies featuring him generating approximately $15.5 billion in worldwide box-office revenue.

According to reports, Holland’s position has been strengthened by the commercial success of his 2026 releases, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day, in which Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker, has reportedly earned around $2.4 billion globally. Meanwhile, The Odyssey has generated approximately $1.6 billion at the worldwide box office.

The combined success of the films has reportedly pushed Holland ahead of Zoe Saldaña and Scarlett Johansson in terms of the cumulative worldwide box-office earnings of films in which they have appeared.

Holland’s rise reflects the enduring commercial appeal of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his popularity as Spider-Man. Since making his debut as the character in Captain America: Civil War in 2016, he has appeared in several successful Marvel productions, including Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

However, the reported $15.5 billion figure refers to the combined box-office revenue of films featuring Holland, not his personal income or salary.
