A 39-member business delegation of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), led by DCCI President Taskeen Ahmed, will visit Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from September 22-25, 2026 with an aim to strengthen bilateral trade and investment between Bangladesh and Malaysia.
The visit will also focus on expanding exports of Bangladeshi products with high potential in the Malaysian market and attracting Malaysian investment to Bangladesh. The High Commission of Bangladesh in Malaysia is extending its overall support and cooperation to the DCCI delegation throughout its visit, said a press release on Sunday.
During the visit, the business delegation will hold trade discussions and participate in Business-to-Business (B2B) sessions with the Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia on 23, 24 and 25 September respectively.
Through participating in these business networking meetings, Bangladeshi entrepreneurs will have the opportunities to explore avenues for expanding bilateral trade and investment.
The delegates will also participate in one of the world's premier halal trade platforms Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) to be held in Kuala Lumpur on 24 September 2026. This will provide Bangladeshi businesses with a significant opportunity to engage with global halal industry leaders.
