Parked passenger bus set ablaze in Savar

A passenger bus was set on fire by unidentified miscreants while it was parked in Savar on Sunday night.

The incident took place in the Radio Colony area along the Dhaka-Aricha highway, according to the Fire Service.

Locals spotted the blaze on the parked bus in the early hours and alerted the Fire Service. A firefighting unit rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control.

By then, parts of the bus had been gutted by the fire.
