Rajbari Dev Committee meet held

RAJBARI, Sept 21: The monthly District Development Coordination Committee meeting was held on Sunday in the deputy commissioner’s conference room, with officials reviewing ongoing development projects, departmental challenges and public-service activities.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Afroza Parvin chaired the meeting, which was conducted by Additional DC (Education and ICT) Shankar Chandra Baidya. Among others present at the meeting were Rajbari 250-bed Sadar Hospital Deputy Director Dr Sheikh Abdul Hannan, District Civil Surgeon Dr SM Masud, Additional Superintendent of Police Shamsul Haque, Rajbari Municipality Administrator Kalyan Chowdhury, District Education Officer Abdul Majid, Local Government Engineering Department Executive Engineer Mahmudul Hasan, Roads and Highways Department Executive Engineer Kumaresh Biswas, five Upazila Nirbahi Officers and heads of various government departments.

Officials reported on the progress of their departments and outlined problems and proposed solutions.
