Zahirul Islam Chy re-elected Chairman of Popular Life Insurance

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 23: Mohammad Zahirul Islam Chowdhury has been re-elected as the Chairman of Popular Life Insurance PLC during the company's 297th board meeting. He serves as the Managing Director of PHP Ship Breaking and Recycling Industries Ltd., PHP Spinning Mills Ltd., PHP Ispat Ltd., and PHP Cotton Mills Ltd.

Additionally, he holds the position of Director at various other enterprises, including PHP NOF Continuous Galvanizing Mills Ltd., PHP Integrated Steel Mills Ltd., PHP Steel Works Ltd., PHP Float Glass Industries Ltd., and PHP Petro Refinery Limited.

Zahirul Islam Chowdhury was born on July 4, 1982, in Chattogram. He obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology degree from the University of Canberra in Australia.
