Woman falls under moving train in Jhenaidah

A 37-year-old woman lost both legs after falling while trying to board a moving train at Mobarakganj Railway Station in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah, on Saturday morning.

The woman, Rabeya Khatun, was travelling on the Kopotakkho Express from Rajshahi to Khulna. The train started moving after a stop around 8 AM when she slipped and fell.

She also suffered injuries to one hand and other parts of her body. Fire Service personnel rescued her and took her to hospital. As her condition was critical, she was later referred to Jashore.
