The victims were identified as Azizul Haque, 45, and Ershad, 50, both from Taposidanga in Jashore Sadar.

Eyewitnesses said the easy-bike was crossing the railway line when it was hit by the Ruposhi Bangla train from Dhaka, crushing the vehicle. The two passengers died at the scene.

Railway police recovered the bodies, confirmed their identities and began investigating the accident, said ASI Abdullah Al Mamun of Jashore Railway Police.

JHENAIDAH: A 37-year-old female passenger was killed after falling beneath a moving train while boarding the Kopotakkho Express at Mobarakganj Railway Station in Jhenaidah on Saturday morning.
