A 3.2-magnitude earthquake was felt in Narsingdi on Thursday, with its epicentre in Shibpur, 51 kilometres from Dhaka, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
The earthquake was felt at 12:15PM on Thursday, according to information published on the Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s website.
The earthquake measured 3.2 on the Richter scale.
According to a report by India’s National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake originated at a depth of 36 kilometres.
