Pakistan envoy meets BGMEA president

Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Haider met Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Mahmud Hasan Khan at the BGMEA office in Dhaka on Sunday.

The meeting focused on increasing bilateral trade in the textile and allied sectors, organising activities under the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between BGMEA and Pakistan Ready-made Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA), and reducing trade barriers.

Mahmud Hasan Khan invited Pakistani companies to attend the Bangladesh Apparel and Textile Exposition (BATEXPO), scheduled for November 18-19.

The high commissioner assured the BGMEA president of all possible cooperation to enhance bilateral trade and commercial collaboration.
