Nat'l Productivity Day observed in Naogaon

NAOGAON, Oct 4: National Productivity Day 2026 was observed in the district under the theme “Combining Innovation, Technology and Skills to Increase Productivity”.

A discussion was held on Saturday afternoon at the conference room of the district administration office, chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md Masudul Haque, who presented the keynote paper.

Officials from various government agencies and stakeholders attended the event, including BSCIC Deputy Manager Shamim Akter Mamun, Department of Women Affairs Deputy Director Amina Khatun and Agricultural Marketing Officer Sohag Sarker.

About 70 entrepreneurs who had received training from BSCIC, the Department of Youth Development, the Department of Women Affairs and the Department of Agricultural Marketing also participated. Representatives of the Naogaon Chamber of Commerce and the Small and Cottage Industries Owners Association addressed the meeting.
