Culture practice can help youth build country: State Minister

State Minister for Culture Ali Niaz Mahmud Khaiyam on Saturday said he hoped the present generation, enriched by cultural practice, would move forward to build the country.

He made the remark while addressing online at ‘2026 fresher’ reception and annual cultural programme’ of Gulshan-Badda branch of Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA) as the chief guest.

The event was held at the Bangladesh Girl Guides Association auditorium to encourage cultural activities among students and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talents. It began with an art competition.

Speakers said such programmes are important for encouraging cultural activities among children and young people. They hoped BAFA Gulshan-Badda would continue to contribute to cultural development.
