Mustafa elected ONAB prez, Rono GS

Mustafa Kamal Majumder has been elected president of Online News Portal Association Bangladesh (ONAB), while Syed Nurul Huda Rono has been elected general secretary (GS).

ONAB is an organisation representing online media owners registered with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The new full-fledged executive committee was announced at ONAB’s biennial general meeting held at the National Press Club on Saturday.

The previous ad hoc committee was dissolved at the meeting.

Other office-bearers of the new committee are: Alimuzzaman Harun, senior vice-president; Latiful Bari Hamim, vice-president; Ashraful Kabir Ashif, senior joint secretary; Sakhawat Hossain Sojib, joint secretary; and Ayon Ahmed, treasurer.
