Kareena to reunite with SRK in King song

Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan after 15 years for a special song sequence in the upcoming action film King. The actress is expected to shoot the song, titled Daddy Cool, with Shah Rukh Khan in South Africa later this month.

Kareena has allocated around five days for the shoot, which is reportedly being planned on a large scale.

The song is being designed as a special track featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena in a new avatar. The song is expected to be one of the major highlights of King.

The track will reportedly feature a collaboration between an Indian and an international artist. However, the makers have not yet revealed the name of the international artist or the singer. The song has been composed by Sachin-Jigar.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor have previously appeared together in films including Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Don. Their reunion in King is therefore expected to generate considerable interest among fans.

Meanwhile, the makers are reportedly planning to unveil a new asset from King around November 2, coinciding with Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday.

Co-written and directed by Siddharth Anand, King is produced by Gauri Khan, Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. The film features Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi and Raghav Juyal.
