CHATTOGRAM, Oct 12: PHP Arabian Horse Super, a roofing sheet brand launched in 2001, marks 25 years in Bangladesh’s roofing industry, backed by PHP Family’s more than three decades of experience in steel processing.
The brand’s manufacturing operations in Chattogram and Feni include galvanizing and cold-rolling facilities. According to PHP Family, PHP NOF Continuous Galvanizing Mills produces its corrugated roofing sheets, commonly known as dhew tin.
The manufacturing process involves several stages. Cold rolling reduces the thickness of steel to the required dimensions, while galvanizing applies a protective zinc coating to the steel surface. The corrugation process then creates the characteristic waves of dhew tin. Each stage contributes to the properties and final form of the roofing sheet.
PHP Arabian Horse Super’s product range includes conventional NOF dhew tin, colour-coated tin, alume tin and profile sheets for various roofing and construction applications.
These products form part of PHP Family’s broader flat-steel operations, which also include galvanized coils and cold-rolled steel products for construction and industrial use.
Since its launch, the brand has served Bangladesh’s roofing market, linking domestic steel processing with a widely used building material.
