Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nuzhat & Associates to simplify banking services for students seeking higher education abroad and encourage international remittance transactions through formal banking channels.

Under the partnership, the bank’s financial services will be integrated with Nuzhat & Associates’ student consultancy network to make education-related banking procedures more accessible and convenient for students and their families.

The initiative will facilitate student onboarding, student file processing and need-based banking services at different stages of pursuing higher education overseas. It also aims to streamline banking support for families managing the financial requirements of international education.

Community Bank Managing Director Mohammad Imtiaz Uddin emphasised the importance of building effective partnerships to meet evolving customer needs and support the bank’s growth. The initiative reflects the bank’s strategic focus on expanding education-related banking services and building long-term relationships with students and their families.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Mohammad Imtiaz Uddin, managing director of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC, and Mohammad Shamim Murshed, managing director of Nuzhat & Associates.

Among others, the bank’s Chief Operating Officer Shamsul Haque Sufiani and Board Secretariat official Saiful Alam, FCS, along with other senior officials, were present at the event.

Both organisations expressed optimism that the partnership would make banking services related to overseas higher education more accessible and better coordinated. They also reaffirmed their commitment to helping students pursue their academic aspirations abroad through convenient banking facilities and international remittance transactions via formal banking channels.
