Popular Life Insurance PLC conducts nationwide claim settlement programme

CHATTOGRAM , Oct 19: Popular Life Insurance PLC is conducting a special nationwide claim settlement programme to ensure financial security for policyholders, deliver promised benefits on time and strengthen public confidence in the country’s insurance sector.

Under the programme, a large number of insurance claim cheques are being handed over to policyholders in different parts of the country.

According to Popular Life Insurance, claim cheques have already been distributed in Chattogram, Cumilla, Mymensingh, Chandpur, Noakhali, Narayanganj, Brahmanbaria, Feni, Gazipur, Nawabganj, Bogura, Rangpur, Khulna, Satkhira, Jashore, Narail, Shariatpur, Barishal, Patuakhali and Bhola.

The claims are being settled through separate programmes organised in these regions.

Popular Life Insurance Chairman Mohammad Zahirul Islam Rinku and Managing Director and CEO BM Yusuf Ali, who is also president of the Bangladesh Insurance Forum, attended various events as chief guests and handed over claim cheques to policyholders.

Mohammad Zahirul Islam Rinku said the company must continue to prioritise customer satisfaction through honesty, hard work and professionalism.

“The nationwide distribution of claim cheques reflects our commitment to policyholders,” he said.

Additional Managing Directors BM Shawkat Ali and Mostafa Helal Kabir, Senior Deputy Managing Director Syed Motahar Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors Md Kamal Hossain Mohsin and Mohammad Khalilur Rahman Sikder, along with other senior officials, were also present at the events.
