Barcelona midfielder Rodri has warned his teammates not to underestimate Real Madrid ahead of Sunday’s El Clasico, despite their inconsistent form.

“They won’t fool us, or at least they won’t fool me. Real Madrid are always a dangerous opponent,” Rodri told ESPN.

The match will be his first El Clasico since joining Barcelona from Manchester City this summer.

Barcelona’s 11-match winning streak ended with a 4-2 defeat to PSG in the Champions League midweek. Despite Real Madrid’s domestic setbacks, Barcelona players have warned against complacency, stressing that the long La Liga season can change quickly.
