Bolstered by a constellation of national team stars, Walton has assembled a powerhouse squad with its sights firmly set on lifting the maiden D-3 Trophy, a multi-format tournament organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

Following a grueling eight-hour player auction held on Monday (October 26, 2026) at a Dhaka five-star hotel, Walton successfully secured some of the biggest names in domestic and international cricket to complement pre-selected icon all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Walton made massive waves in the auction by acquiring premier fast bowler Taskin Ahmed for 2.10 crore points, dynamic wicketkeeper-batter Litton Kumar Das for 1.55 crore points, and seasoned Test specialist Mominul Haque for 80 lakh points. The franchise further fortified its ranks by bringing in spinner Nasum Ahmed (69 lakh points), promising youngster Ariful Islam (62 lakh points), and veteran batters Marshall Ayub and Rony Talukdar.

Speaking on Walton's deep-rooted commitment to sports, Rabiul Milton, Additional Executive Director of Press and Media, emphasized the brand's enduring legacy. "Walton has always stood by sports and continued its patronage, holding a special passion and affection for cricket," Milton stated, expressing high optimism. "We have formed a formidable team for the D-3 Trophy with the ultimate goal of playing exceptional cricket and clinching the championship."

Guided by former national star spinner and head coach Abdur Rajzak, alongside the enthusiastic presence of film actor and Walton representative Amin Khan, the franchise boasts a lethal blend of youth and experience.

With Miraz’s all-round brilliance, Litton’s explosive batting, Taskin’s fiery pace, and a well-balanced roster, Walton stands as the ultimate team to beat across T20, ODI, and four-day formats.

Walton has a long-standing history of being a cornerstone supporter of Bangladesh cricket, consistently sponsoring major domestic tournaments and nurturing the nation's sporting talent. With this star-studded setup, the brand is poised to add another glorious chapter to its rich legacy of sports patronage.
