An investigation committee has been formed to determine the cause of a mechanical fault on the Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Prime Minister Tarique Rahman from Japan.
The information was confirmed by Biman Bangladesh Airlines' public relations department on Friday (October 30).
Earlier, the flight BG-377, carrying the prime minister and his entourage, departed for Dhaka nearly five hours late due to a technical problem in the cockpit.

Following the repair, the aircraft was pushed back at 7:43 PM Bangladesh time and safely departed Narita Airport at 7:55 PM.
The flight carrying the prime minister landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 2:48 AM on Friday.
