War - Yes the War 
Terrifying massive act of terror 
On the earth 
The destruction of humanity 
And the devil’s joy.

The War -
The terrifying catastrophe 
That destroys the humanity.

Yes - the war means 
The brutality of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The war means 
The anguished cry of innocent and sinless child
In the heart of Palestine.

War means -
Famine and pangs of hunger 
Across the face of the earth.

War means -
The rain of missiles in the night sky 
And roars of bombers
Endangered the lives of weary, innocent
sleeping people.

But why - for what offense ?
What answer 
The global conscience will give ?

Amidst the war
Somewhere nearby 
An expectant mother in writing agony 

No there was none by her side 
The relatives those who were close 
They had left long ago.

The piercing cry of a new born baby 
Flailing arms and legs expresses condemnation of the global conscience.

Amidst the dire humanitarian crisis
