Iran’s supreme leader issues strategic orders to military chiefs

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has issued strategic directives to senior commanders of the country’s armed forces during a meeting, his official X account confirmed on Saturday (October 31).

The account described the directives as “important and strategic orders” and said details would be made public shortly. However, it did not disclose the specific instructions or identify the commanders who attended the meeting.

The announcement comes amid heightened tensions between Iran, the United States and Israel following months of military confrontation and diplomatic efforts to prevent renewed fighting. Iran’s military has warned that any fresh US attack could widen the conflict across the region.
