Money Changers' Association holds AGM

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Money Changers' Association of Bangladesh (MCAB) was held at Emmanuelle's Party Centre in Gulshan, Dhaka.

At the meeting, the audit report for the 2025-26 fiscal year was presented and unanimously approved by the members, says a press release. 

In addition, in compliance with the Companies Act and following a High Court verdict, the separate audit reports for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 fiscal years were presented and unanimously approved.

The meeting also expressed gratitude to the officials concerned at Bangladesh Bank for allowing money changers to endorse up to US$18,000 for outbound travellers, matching the endorsement limit available to authorised dealer (AD) banks.

The meeting was chaired by SM Zaman.
Among others, MCAB General Secretary Engineer Goutam De, Organising Secretary KM Maksudur Rahman and Treasurer Sabuj Molla addressed the meeting.
