Araghchi hopes for ‘rationality’ from US

TEHRAN, Nov 1: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says talks are ongoing with Qatari mediators on a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within two days if the US cooperates.

“We are making our efforts in this direction and hope that there is rationality on the other side to prefer diplomacy to other paths,” Abbas Araghchi said.
Araghchi added orders issued by Iran’s supreme commander-in-chief to senior military officials had clearly demonstrated Tehran’s resolve.

“Our armed forces also have a very clear mission and, drawing on the experiences of the past two wars, are much stronger than before.” �"AL JAZEERA
