A Dhaka court on Monday, November 2, ordered the freezing of seven bank accounts belonging to M Shamsur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Independent Television, and his associated entities amid an ongoing financial inquiry.

Judge Md Shahjahan Kabir of the Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge's Court issued the order following an application submitted by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
