Dengue, measles claim 7 more lives in 24hrs

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has reported that three people were died of dengue while four other died with measles symptoms across the country in the 24 hours from 8am Friday to 8am Saturday.

During the same period, 1,674 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country while 1,049 people were newly diagnosed with suspected or confirmed measles.

According to the DGHS dengue-related release on Saturday, among the three deceased in last 24 hour, two were reported in Dhaka, while one was from Barishal division. The number of dengue deaths this year has now reached 458.
