Javed elected NBA president, Raisul GS

Javed Kardar, senior presenter at Mohona Television, has been elected president of the News Broadcasters Alliance of Bangladesh (NBA) for the 2026-2028 term, while Raisul Haque Chowdhury of NTV has been elected its general secretary.

The election to the executive committee of the organisation of private television and radio news presenters was held on Friday (November 6) at the Sagar-Runi Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in the capital, according to a press release.

Voting took place from 10am to 6pm in a festive atmosphere, with former and current news presenters from different television channels exercising their voting rights.
