A growing number of buyers and sellers are gathering at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka every Friday for its ‘Super Sale Car Bazar’, where motorcycles are also attracting attention alongside new, used and reconditioned cars.
Held at ICCB’s Expo Village, the weekly marketplace offers visitors an opportunity to explore different vehicle models, compare prices and purchase cars or sell their privately owned vehicles at the same venue.
Launched on September 4, the initiative held its ninth edition on Friday (November 6), drawing families and prospective buyers interested in a wide range of vehicles.
Toyota, Mitsubishi and Nissan models dominate the market, with vehicles ranging from older 2000 models to brand-new 2026 editions. Different models of motorcycles are also available for sale.
To facilitate purchases, the organisers have also arranged bank financing and auto loan facilities, allowing buyers to explore financing options at the venue.
Mehedi Hasan, brand and marketing manager of ICCB, told that hundreds of people visit the marketplace every Friday. He said both buyers and sellers were showing growing interest in the initiative.
Organised by Wizard Showbiz with venue support from ICCB, the marketplace remains open every Friday from 11am to 8pm.
By bringing different types of vehicles and financing facilities under one roof, the initiative is gradually emerging as an attractive marketplace for buyers and sellers.
