Standing bus set on fire in Mohakhali

Fire Service duty officer Shahjahan Hossain confirmed that the incident occurred around 12:57 AM on Saturday night (7 November). Upon receiving the report, two firefighting units from the Tejgaon Fire Service station were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire could not be immediately determined, according to the Fire Service official.

The arson in Mohakhali marks the second instance of a bus being torched in the capital on Saturday night. Earlier, at around 10:00 PM, unidentified miscreants set fire to a Bihanga Paribahan bus in Dhaka's Mirpur area.
