Three more members of armed separatist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) were sent to jail on Saturday in the cases of bank robbery and weapons looting.
They were identified as God Galri Bom, 31, Sang Khum Bom, 38, and Jefania Bom, 19. All of them are the residents of Ruma upazila.
Biswajit Singh, General Register Officer (GRO) of Bandarban court said they were arrested in the ongoing anti-militancy drive by the joint forces from a remote hilly area under Ruma upazila of the district on Friday. Later, they were sent to jail through a court order Saturday.
Earlier, on April 2 and 3, KNF members attacked state-run banks in Bandarban. They looted money and firearms and abducted Sonali Bank Manager Nizam Uddin. Several cases were filed with different police stations of the hilly district.
As many as 108 KNF members have been arrested, so far, following the robbery.
