Two more cases were filed against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and one more against former lawmaker Shamim Osman on Wednesday in Narayanganj's Rupganj and Fatullah.

In Rupganj, the murder case was filed against Hasina and 44 others over the death of 17-year-old student Roman Mia on August 5.
The case was filed following the complaint lodged by Roman's aunt Rina with Rupganj Police Station this afternoon, Narayanganj Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Amir Khosru said.

Roman was a 10th-grade student of Naba Kisholoy High School, who was shot at Chonpara area of Rupganj on the evening of August 5.

Obaidul Quader, former textiles and jute minister Golam Dastagir Gazi, his son Gazi Golam Murtoza, his personal secretary Emdadul Haque, and former Rupganj upazila chairman Habibur Rahman were among the accused. Sixty unnamed people were also made accused in the case.

In Fatullah, another case was filed against 80 people including Awami League President and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former local lawmaker Shamim Osman on charge of killing a man during the student movement.

Victim Abul Hossain Miji's mother lodged the case at Fatullah Model Police Station on Wednesday, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nur-e-Azam.

Also 150/200 unknown persons were made accused in the case, he said.
