Youth beaten to death in Moulvibazar

A youth beaten to death reportedly by an angry mob at Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district on early Wednesday.

The incident took place around 2 AM on Wednesday at Balishiri village under Kulaura Sadar union.
The deceased was identified as Jayed Khan, 28, a resident of the same village.

According to police sources, locals apprehanded Jayed while he was trying to steal an electric fan from a school and beat him mercilessly. 

Being informed, police rescued him in critical condition and took him to Kulaura Upazila Health Complex where the physicians declared him dead.

Kulaura Police Station officer-in-charge Binay Bhusan Roy said that they have sent to the body to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy and legal actions will be taken if the family members file any complaint in this regard.
