Ramgati Barokheri River Police outpost in-charge Ferdous Ahmmed confirmed the information, adding that they have recovered the body from Alexander Asalpara area of the upazila. Later, the body was handed over to Ramgati Police Station.

Mosle Uddin, officer-in-charge of the police station, said the identities of the deceased are yet to be known and the body was sent to Laxmipur General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
