Minor child drowns in Natore

A minor child drowned in a ditch at Singra upazila of Natore district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Sabbir Hossain, 9, son of Abdul Alim, a resident of Notunpara village under Lalore union of the upazila.
The deceased family memebrs said that the child slipped into the ditch while he was playing on the bank of it.

He was rescued and taken to Singra Upazila Health Complex where the attending doctors declared him dead.
