2 killed in Tangail road accidents

Two individuals were killed in separate road accidents in Suvullya and Dewhata areas on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in Tangail district on Monday morning.

Gorai Highway Police Station sub-inspector Anisuzzaman confirmed the deaths, adding that upon receiving information, police recovered the bodies from the spots.
Police said a 65-year unidentified man died on the spot when a bus crushed him in Shuvullya area on the Dhaka-Tangail highway around 9 AM.

In another accident, Sonamuddin, 70, was killed after being hit by a bus while he was crossing the road at Dewhata on the Dhaka-Tangail highway around 10.45 AM.
