Elderly man found dead in Rajbari

An elderly man was found dead at Daulatdia launch ghat at Goalanda upazila in Rajbari district on Monday.

The deceased Monwar, 70, was son of late Nur Box and a resident of Lakshmikul area under Rajbari Sadar upazila. He used to earn his livelihood by begging and take shelter in the night at the launch ghat yard.

On Monday morning, locals found him lying in the yard and informed police as he didn't responding to their calls. 

Being informed, police recovered the body and his family members were informed, said Goalanda Ghat Police Station officer-in-charge Rakibul Hasan.
