Fire breaks out at Gazipur colony

A fire broke out at a colony in Ambagan area of Mouchak union at Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur on Monday evening. 

On information, four fire service units rushed to the spot and working to being the blaze under control.

The fire reportedly started around 7 PM at Sultan's house and quickly spread to nearby homes. Locals believe that a gas cylinder explosion may have caused the fire.

According to Gazipur Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Abdullah Al Arefin, fire service units from Konabari Modern Fire Station and Kaliakoir Fire Station rushed to the scene and began working to control the fire. 

No casualties have been reported so far, and the cause and extent of the damage will be investigated further.
