Magura road accident leaves two dead

Two motorcyclists were killed and another was injured in a collision between their motorcycle and a private car in Magura Sadar upazila on Monday.

The accident took place around 9 PM on Monday at Kashinathpur Signboard area under the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Sunny Biswas, 21, and Muhib Biswas, 19, both were residents of Goiricharonpur village under the upazila.

Confirming the matter, Magura Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Joyanta Kumar Mondol said the accident occurred when a private car and a motorbike collided head-on in Kashinathpur Signboard area at around 9 pm. 

Sunny was declared dead at Magura General Hospital while Muhib breathed his last on the way to Faridpur Medical College, he added.

Police seized the private car and a case was being processed to file, added the OC.
