Man killed in B'baria road accident

A man was killed in a collision involving a private car and lorry truck at Bijoynagar upazila in Brahmanbaria on Monday.

The accident took place in the morning at Budhanti area along the Dhaka-Sylhet highway of the upazila.
The deceased was identified as the private car driver Shakib Mia, son of Gani Mia from Dhaka's Mohakhali wireless gate area.

Confirming the matter, Khantiata Highway Police Station officer-in-charge Margub Tauhid said that the incident took place when a speeding lorry truck and a private car collided head-on at Budhanti area. The driver of the private car was seriously injured. 

Locals rescued the injured and brought him to Brahmanbaria General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
