Twaki murder case's key accused Jamai Mamun arrested

One of the key accused of sensational Narayanganj's Twaki murder case has been arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11).

Accused Abdullah Al Mamun alias Jamai Mamun was arrested from Chittagong Road area in Siddhirganj on Tuesday (October 1).

RAB's assistant directir (ASP) Sanat Barua stated it in a press release on Tuesday (October 1).

The press release said Abdullah Al Mamun had been hiding in Dhaka for a long time. At night on October 1, he was trying to go to Ramgarh of Khagrachhari district from Dhaka in guise of Tabliq Jamaat. Acting on a tip, the accused was arrested from a Khagrachari-bound bus.

Meanwhile, following the arrest, the RAB-11 pleaded to the court to place the accused on remand sending him to a district and sessions judge court.
