Ex-army man killed in M'singh road crash

A former army personnel was killed in a road accident at Gouripur upazila in Mymensingh district on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Taij Uddin, 60, a resident of Darun Krishnapur village under Bokainagar union of the upazila.

According to locals, Taij Uddin was critically injured after being hit by a battery-powered autorickshaw on the Gauripur-Shahganj road last September 25. Since then, he was receiving treatment at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. 

Later, he succumbed to his injuries on Friday.
