On Monday, October 14, at 9 a.m., the family members drank poison and started staggering. She was rescued and taken to Madhabpur Sadar Hospital in Habiganj district. The doctors on-duty reffered her to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for better treatment where the physicians declared her dead.

Bijoynagar Police Station officer in charge Shahidul Islam confirmed the death, adding that the actual reason behind the death is not yet been ascertained. 

However, the body has been sent for autopsy and legal actions will be taken in this regard, added the OC.
