Man dies of electrocution in Kurigram

A man died from electrocution at Vatarpar village of Ulipur upazila in Kurigram district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzak, 38, a resident of the same village.
Citing locals, police said Razzak came in contact with a live electric wire around 10 AM while he was setting up a water pump in his pond. He was taken to Ulipur Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead.

Ulipur Police Station sub inspector Al Helal confirmed the death and said an unnatural death case was filed in this regard.
