Man crushed under train in M'singh

An unidentified man died after being hit by a train at Gouripur upazila in Mymensingh district on Tuesday. 

The accident took place at Shalihar on the Mymensingh-Gouripur railway track on Tuesday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased, aged around 45, could not be known immediately.

Citing locals, Gouripur Railway Police outpost in-charge Harun Or Rashid said that the man crushed under the wheels of Jaria-bound train from Mymensingh at Shalihar on the Mymensingh-Gauripur railway track. 

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh PBI office to collect fingerprints for identification. 

Later, the body will be sent to the Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy and an unnatural death case will be filed in this regard, added the police official.
