A joint workers' meeting was held in Dinajpur's Ghoraghat upazila on Saturday, focusing on guidance for building an equitable and humane society.
The meeting took place on Saturday at the upazila hall room, organized by Ghoraghat upazila and municipal BNP unit, along with their affiliated organizations.
The event was presided over by the upazila BNP President and former upazila Chairman Shah Md. Shamim Hossain Chowdhury.
BNP National Standing Committee Member and personal physician to former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, was presented as the chief guest of the event. In his speech, he said "BNP is a modern, democratic party that represents the people. We aim to move forward in elections with the 31-point framework for restructuring the state, as proposed by acting BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on July 13, 2023."
The program was moderated by Ghoraghat municipal BNP president and former Mayor Abdus Sattar Milon, with special remarks from BNP's Rangpur Division co-organizing secretary Prof Aminul Islam. Other speakers included upazila BNP general secretary Abu Sayed Mia, senior vice president Mahabubur Rahman Chowdhury, organizing secretary Mahfuzur Rahman Lablu, acting general secretary of municipal BNP Muktar Hossain, and organizing secretary Al Mamun Sarkar.
