2 killed in Natore road accident

The accident occurred on Tuesday at around 3:25 PM when an unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle, leaving both riders dead at the scene.  

The deceased were identified as Motaleb Hossain, 45, son of late Abed Ali, and Shah Alam, 47, son of late Joyen Pramanik. Both were residents of Koishabpur village in Chatmohar upazila of Pabna district.  

Bonpara Highway Police outpost officer-in-charge Ismail Hossain, said, "Locals reported seeing two bodies lying on the road near the 10th bridge of the area. Upon receiving the information, police and fire service personnel rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies. The remains have been kept at the Bonpara Highway Police outpost. The exact circumstances of the accident are yet to be determined."

Authorities are investigating the incident to identify the vehicle involved and ascertain the cause of the accident, he added.
