Youth dies in B'baria road crash

The accident occurred around 1 PM on the Radhika Road near Brahmanhata Bridge. 

The victim, Rafi, 17, was the youngest son of Samsu Mia, a resident of Alamnagar in Nabinagar Municipality.  

According to sources, Rafi along with his college friends, went for a ride on Radhika Road in the morning. While riding at high speed, he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with the railing of the bridge. The impact left him critically injured.  

His friends immediately rushed him to Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex where he received initial treatment. He was then referred to Comilla Medical College Hospital for advanced care, but Rafi succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.  

Nabinagar Police Station officer-in-charge Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter.
