10 injured as tourist vehicle overturns in Sajek

A tourist vehicle, locally known as "Chander Gari," overturned and plunged 30 feet off the road in Sajek, injuring 10 tourists on Saturday. 

The accident occurred on Saturday morning in the Housh Para area of Sajek while the group was returning from their trip.  

According to Sajek Police Station officer-in-charge Kanak Sarkar, the tourists were en route to Khagrachari when the vehicle lost control and fell into a roadside ravine.

Among the injured, Zakir, Arfan, Sabuj, Saiful, and Uzzal are in critical condition.  
 
All injured individuals were rescued and admitted to Khagrachari Sadar Hospital for treatment.  

The injured tourists are reported to be residents of Dhamrai in Savar and Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria.
