Youth held with 500 liters of liquor in Ctg

  
The raid was conducted late on Saturday night in Champa Talukdar Para of Ahla Karoldenga union. 

The arrested Nasir Uddin Sujan, 32, was son of Ali Ahmad and a resident of South Bhurshi Noyabari area in Patiya upazila. 

Boalkhali Police Station sub-inspector Forrukh Ahmed Minhaj stated, "Nasir was caught red-handed while waiting for transportation with plastic bags full of the illicit liquor. Although  he was arrested during the raid, his three accomplices managed to flee the scene. A case has been filed against Nasir and three others under relevant sections of the law."  
 
OC Golam Sarwar confirmed the detention adding that Nasir was produced before a court following his arrest.
