Elderly man dies in Ctg bike collision

The incident occurred in front of Himmat Muhuri Bari near Farhadabad union on the Hathazari-Nazirhat regional road.

The deceased, Khairul Bashar, 85, was a resident of ward no 3 in Uttar Khiram union of Fatikchhari upazila.  

According to witnesses, the accident took place around 3 PM when Khairul Bashar was crossing the road. A speeding motorcycle struck him, causing him to die on the spot.  

Upon receiving the news, police from Nazirhat Highway Police Station arrived at the scene and seized the motorcycle. 

The deceased's body, along with the motorbike rider was taken to the highway police station for further legal procedures.

Police official Asad confirmed the incident and stated that necessary legal measures are being processed.
